Liverpool Juniors win Merseyside Division 4 adult league!
Liverpool Juniors once again had a fantastic season in the Merseyside adult chess league this season winning Division 4 after also winning Division 5 last season!
The Merseyside Chess Association decided all Merseyside leagues were void for 2020 due to Covid halting the season even though Liverpool Juniors had very clearly deserved to be crowned champions once again as can be seen by the league table below.
Liverpool Chess Club recognise Liverpool champions as the Division 4 winners!
Congratulations to Liverpool Junior players!!
Bashar Rovezi, Luke Maher, Nik Korsinskij, Marek Korsinskij, Frank Hudson, Lewis Tang, Fred Lang, Ranny Ranasinghe and Alex King.
Bashar and Luke are joint top performers with 6 wins from 7 games.
These juniors have so far proved unstoppable in the adult league hopefully they will soon get the chance to win Division 3.
