28 Sept 22 – Liverpool 1 and Liverpool 4 win again!
Liverpool chess club had 2 league matches last night with Liverpool 4 at home to Atticus 3 in Division 3 and Liverpool 1 away at Hoylake 1 in Division 1

The casual junior and adult clubs were bursting at the seams with more people than seats available leaving some people playing standing up, great to see!
Both Liverpool teams managed to get strong wins

Issac won very early on in his game and newcomer Vlad also found a quick win (game attached)
Keeghan was level all the way through but a blunder in the endgame cost him the game.
Young Nik had a tough game on top board but matched his opponent throughout for a good draw.
Fred and Alex had advantages which they msintained to grab convicing wins

The club just keeps getting busier than ever which is great but becoming a challenge to manage too
