English Rapidplay Congress in Liverpool 23/24 September 2017
Liverpool Chess Club and Signature Living will be hosting the English Rapidplay Chess Congress 2017 at the famous Liverpool Cunard Building on Saturday/Sunday 23rd/24th September 2017 with some LARGE CASH PRIZES available for the main events!
The lavish Cunard Building (centre) is one of the famous 3 Graces buildings of Liverpool waterfront, sat in-between the Royal Liver Building and the Port of Liverpool Building.
Main 2 day (Sat/Sun) Event:
The English Rapidplay Tournament 2017 – 2 day event over 9 rounds, 5 games on Saturday and 4 games on Sunday with a £1500 “Open” first prize available. More details to follow on graded competition boundaries and prizes.
One day (Sunday only) Rapidplay:
For those who can only make one day we have Sunday only 5/6 round Rapidplay events.
Junior (Saturday only) Rapidplay:
For all juniors (under 18/14/11/9) we have Saturday only 5/6 round Rapidplay events.
Grandmaster Simultaneous (Friday) events:
A number of Grandmasters and International masters will be hosting a series of simultaneous events on the Friday to get the event started. Prior registration for these events is essential in order to be included on the day. Details of GM/IMs to follow.
